Currently, a majority of our patients are seen virtually, so there are no geographic limits to our services. For our in-person services, patients can live in and around Salem, West Salem, Keizer, and Sublimity/Stayton, Oregon. We do not drive to Albany, Lebanon, Philomath/Corvallis at this time. Abby is also open for in-person visits in or around Pacific City, Lincoln City and Tillamook.
All of our therapists work with children from birth to roughly 18 years of age, depending on their level of need. Kristin also works with adults who stutter. Abby also works with adults to treat Aphasia and Parkinson’s Disease.
We treat our clients in a variety of settings, including home, preschool, daycare, private schools, and public libraries. We are not permitted to treat in public schools during school hours. Parents must initiate requests with administration to have our therapists treat in a preschool, daycare or private school environment.
Yes. Our therapists each maintain their own schedules regarding vacation during the year, but in general we work throughout the year. Parents that wish to take more than a month off from services will be subject to the availability of their therapist when they restart services.
As of January, 2021, we are contracted, in-network providers with the following companies and will bill them on your behalf for our services:
● Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield (we can bill BCBS even if based in another state)
● Providence Health Plans
● MODA Health
● Pacific Source
● Health Net of Oregon (includes Tri-Care)
● Samaritan Health
● Cigna
● First Choice Health Network (works with some Kaiser Permanente plans)
● Medicare Part B
● Medicaid via Pacific Source Community Solutions
We can usually bill other companies as “out of network” providers so please contact us to verify your benefits. However, we cannot bill in-house Kaiser Permanente plans out of network as they do not permit out of network billing.
*** Attention United Health Care (UHC) and UMR clients***
Payments are due in full from the client, regardless of specified benefits. We do not bill UHC or it’s affiliate company UMR. Clients who wish to submit sessions directly will be provided with the form and proper codes in order to do so on your own.
We offer a variety of payment forms that are convenient: cash direct to your therapist, check, electronic check (bill pay), credit and debit cards. Payments via card can be automated to run monthly or made directly via our patient portal.
Please note:
** Effective March 30, 2020, all payments made with a credit or debit card will include an additional 3% processing fee.
